Luscious Lemon Ice Cream

This creamy, luscious home made ice cream is easy to make without the use of ice cream maker!

  • 1 container fat-free Cool Whip (8 ounces)
  • 1 can fat-free sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 large lemon, zested and juiced

Instructions

  1. In a large container, stir together sweetened condensed milk and cool whip. Add in the zest and juice from the lemon and the extract.
  2. Stir the mixture until well blend and freeze until hardened, at least 6 hours or overnight.

Enjoy!

Tips: Instead of cool whip, you may use 2 cups of cold heavy whipping cream, whisk until stiff peaks form.

Bacon and Egg Macaroni Salad

This salad is quick and easy to put together it can be made a day ahead. A great dish to serve on any occasion!

  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 8 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni In a large pot of boiling water over high heat 7 to 9 minutes, or just until tender. Drain, rinse, and allow to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, place the macaroni and add remaining ingredients, and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams chicken breast fillet, cut into strips
  • 2 pc (99 g) hotdog, slliced
  • 1 pc (30 g) small onion, sliced
  • 50 grams carrot, cubed
  • 1/3 cup (85 g) evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp (7 g) salt
  • 1/8 tsp (.375 g) pepper
  • 1 pouch (250 g)DEL MONTE Carbonara Sauce
  • 1 pack (175 g) DEL MONTE Spaghetti (Merienda Pack)

Instructions

  1. Saute in 1 tsp oil onion, chicken and carrot for 5 minutes. Add and saute the hotdogs and set aside.
  2. Cook the pasta according to its package, drain and reserve 2-1/4 cups pasta broth.
  3. Combine the chicken mixture with the pasta broth and DEL MONTE Carbonara Sauce. Let it simmer.
  4. Then add the spaghetti noodles, salt and pepper. Cover and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Delicious Lasagna

This delicious homemade lasagna is made with tomato sauce mixed with ground beef, layered with noodles and cheese.

  • 1 pound lean ground beef (93% lean)
  • Tomato Sauce for Lasagna
  • PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 container (15 oz each) ricotta cheese
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) Hunt’s® Dinner Starters Seasoned 6 dry no-boil flat lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray 8×8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In large skillet, cook the beef until crumbled and no longer pink, occasionally stirring it the drain. Then add the tomato sauce.
  3. Spread over the bottom of dish a 1-1/4 cups meat sauce. Place over the meat sauce 2 noodles,  top with half of the ricotta cheese, 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese and again 1-1/4 cups meat sauce.
  4. Repeat the layers. Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Spray with cooking spray the underside of aluminum foil and  cover the dish tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes the remove foil;then bake 15 minutes more or until cheese melts.
  7. Leave for about 10 minutes before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 frozen ripe banana, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 8 oz plain full fat yogurt or milk kefir
  • Juice of 1 lime or lemon
  • 1 tsp spirulina or 1 handful of spinach/kale
  • A few drops of stevia or a tsp of preferred sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  1. Free the sliced and peeled ripe banana.
  2. Into the blender, add all the ingredients except for the sweetener. And blend until full smooth and creamy.
  3. You may add extra milk depending on the size of the avocado and the banana.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve.

Kefir Pancakes with Blue Berry Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups of milk kefir
  • 1 3/4 cup of flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix together first the dry ingredients.
  2. Blend or stir the eggs with the kefir until it is moistened.
  3. Cook it on a griddle at and serve.

Don’t just eat your kefir pancake with no attraction! You may want to try adding some yummy syrup such as corn, strawberry or even chocolate! My all time favorite is to add really blueberry in it! Enjoy!

Kefir Frozen Bars

This yummy frosty treat are bursting with the taste of your favorite fruits and kefir.

  • 3-4 strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 lrg banana
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1/2 cup Lifeway kefir any flavor or you can substitute yoghurt

Instructions

  1. In blender, place all the fruits and pour kefir on top.
  2. Blend it until smooth.
  3. Then add protein powder then blend it again for about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour into the Popsicle molds and freeze at least 4 hours.

This fruit popsicle is one of my recommendation for kids, especially in summer times! People really are so busy that they already forgetting to have proper diet in there daily eating habits so adding up some fruits for dessert is one awesome way to achieve balance diet.

Kratom and Coffee Jelly Recipe

Kratom

While most people already know that kratom can actually mix well with coffee where flavour-masking is concerned, not all of them realise the potential of this pairing for kratom recipes. This kratom recipe is one that exploits the positive combination of the two, and which uses the strong flavour of coffee to mask the bitterness of the herb. The result is a fun way to consume kratom, as though it were a coffee jell-o shot, and with little of the wincing that often accompanies its consumption.

Start by preparing the kratom leaves or powder. Use only enough for one dose, with about 8g being a good figure. Put this in a saucepan that you have over heat and combine it with a cup of clean water, bringing it to a low boil and letting it cook until the water has reduced to only half of the volume you started with. Once that is done, take the saucepan off the heat, let it settle for a bit, then pour the liquid into a bowl and let it cool there.

Now add another cup of water to the saucepan and boil it down to half the starting volume again. While this is going on, if the first half-cup of kratom tea you made has cooled enough for it, pass it through a strainer or filter and into another (medium-sized) bowl. Test it with a finger to make sure it is cool, then sprinkle a quarter of an ounce of unflavoured gelatine powder on the kratom liquid.

Coffee Jelly

Now go back to the second batch of kratom liquid you are making. If it has reduced to nearly the ideal volume already, pour it out into a bowl and strain/filter out particulates. When clear, you can put it in a fresh saucepan along 1/3 cup of sugar and 2 tbsp of instant espresso powder. Boil this new mixture over heat until the sugar crystals have dissolved in it, and then pour that (while hot) into the bowl that contains the cool kratom liquid and gelatine powder. Whisk everything until the gelatine powder dissolves and then add a quarter cup of coffee liqueur. Whisk that mixture again, and then let everything cool for about 15-20 minutes. Once cool but still sufficiently liquid, pour it into some shot-glasses or ramekins and then pop in the fridge for 2 hours.
