Delicious Lasagna

This delicious homemade lasagna is made with tomato sauce mixed with ground beef, layered with noodles and cheese.

Ingredientslasagna

  • 1 pound lean ground beef (93% lean)
  • Tomato Sauce for Lasagna
  • PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 container (15 oz each) ricotta cheese
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) Hunt’s® Dinner Starters Seasoned 6 dry no-boil flat lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray 8×8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In large skillet, cook the beef until crumbled and no longer pink, occasionally stirring it the drain. Then add the tomato sauce.
  3. Spread over the bottom of dish a 1-1/4 cups meat sauce. Place over the meat sauce 2 noodles,  top with half of the ricotta cheese, 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese and again 1-1/4 cups meat sauce.
  4. Repeat the layers. Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Spray with cooking spray the underside of aluminum foil and  cover the dish tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes the remove foil;then bake 15 minutes more or until cheese melts.
  7. Leave for about 10 minutes before serving.

Pork Afritada with Pineapple

This recipe is tomato-based stew consisting of pork in tomato sauce with the tangy flavor of pineaplle.

Ingredientsporkafritada

  • 1 1/2 lbs pork stew
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 pc medium onion, chopped
  • 1 pc small red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 2 pc small potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1/3 cup cooked/frozen green peas
  • 100 g Baguio beans, sliced
  • 1 pc small carrot, cut into chunks
  • 1 pouch (200 g) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can (234 g) Pineapple Chunks, drained (reserve syrup)

Instructions

  1. Saute onion, garlic and pork and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until tender.
  2. Add the syrup of pineapple, 1tsp of iodized fine salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes or until meat is tender.
  3. Add the potatoes and carrot and cook for about 10 minutes. Then add Baguio beans, green peas, bell pepper, DEL MONTE Fresh Cut Pineapple Chunks and DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with rice.
